About Us

Who We Are

In 1999 the Dixon Hollow, Sunset-Central, and Green Valley Fire Departments merged to create the Fire Department of North Versailles, also known as F.D.N.V. The former fire departments are now known as F.D.N.V. Station 210 (Dixon Hollow), F.D.N.V. Station 213 (Sunset-Central), and F.D.N.V. Station 214 (Green Valley). Also, F.D.N.V. handles the majority of the fire response calls; primarily in the districts previously designated for Dixon Hollow, Green Valley, and Sunset-Central Fire Departments, and all of the rescue and ambulance response calls for North Versailles Township.

In 2014, F.D.N.V. switched to one operation station number, and is now collectively known as Station 213.  Also, the station known as F.D.N.V. Station 210 was sold to a private citizen.  The new owner has agreed to maintain the monument at the old fire station.
